Went there for Thursday dinner. Staff was nice, food was good but a bit on the expensive side for Korean food. Seafood pancake was good. Korean fried chicken with tangy sauce is not the usual fried chicken with gochukang that we are used to, but it was good to.

Great food and atmosphere and our server was so kind and made great recommendations. I will definitely be coming back with my girlfriend. The seafood udon was outstanding and the fries were shockingly perfect.

Mapo Soju Bar is a great spot for drinks and Korean bar snacks. Everything we ordered was delicious, and we had a fantastic time hanging out with the group. It did get a little warm inside the restaurant, but that’s kind of expected with all the burners going. Definitely recommend for a fun night out!

Got original hot pot and it was delicious, as well as chives pancake and a pitcher of asahi. All for two people was a perfect amount for a reasonable price. Atmosphere is cosy and stuff is friendly. Will definitely come back

Updated Review (September 2025): Seems like they did a relaunch of the business. Not sure why, but the quality of service and food is just as good when I first found this place earlier this year (Jan/Feb) Ordered: - kimchi fried rice (favourite item, just as good now as it was before) - beef brisket tteokbokki (sweet and spicy, would order again) - fries (surprising favourite: fresh, not oily, and taste like a hint of truffle oil is used)
